A modern benefits platform to inform employees and help them make the most out of their benefits
Twic is an employee benefits platform. It enables companies to create, manage and distribute benefit programs.
Working closely with the product team and their customers we developed key features that helped grow their platform.
A compliant experience for both employees and employers
At its core, Twic is a fintech company. It handles digital wallets and transactions to guarantee that all parties follow regulations while taking a small portion of the profits through advantageous collaborations with selected vendors.
Bringing clarity to available benefits for every new employee
Through our user research, we discovered that many employees and benefit managers lack knowledge of the benefits offered by their company. In response, we created an onboarding experience to educate people about these benefits.
We designed an onboarding experience to educate people about those benefits. The feedback we received from user testing was overwhelmingly positive.
Tools to drive growth
To drive growth and encourage users to either renew or sign up for a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for the first time, we developed an FSA account election calculator.
By utilizing Twic data, we can inform users of what they may have missed out on in the previous year.
Mobile optimized for all experiences
Considerations for both mobile and desktop were a significant factor in the design of all experiences. This was particularly important as the platform involved card management and money transactions.
Our goal was to provide employees with an easy and convenient way to monitor their balances and subscribe to services.
Bonus: a concept around recognition to drive retention
We also conceptualized a more holistic platform to benefits through recognition.
The goal was to eventually tie this to rewards.
